Carbohydrates are often demonized, but your body actually needs them to thrive. So how can you eat carbs without giving yourself a sugar hangover? I look for high-fiber fruits and veggies (like pumpkin and apples, which are in-season and so delish this time of year) and protein-containing foods (like cottage cheese) to give my meals and snacks better balance.
