I love ice cream, but I try to not keep it in the house because it's so tempting. So if I want a dessert with a similar texture to ice cream, I'll use my food processor whip up a fruit-based version. You can do this with just bananas, or you can add flavorings to it like cocoa powder or vanilla extract.
