French Toast with Apples, Pecans & Greek Yogurt

Here's a healthy easy recipe! This French Toast with Apples, Pecans & Greek Yogurt is a classic and one of the best.



  • 1 slice whole-grain bread
  • Spray oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1/4 oz pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup 2% fat plain Greek yogurt
  • Cinnamon



In a small bowl, beat together egg, egg white, and vanilla extract. Coat a small non-stick pan with spray oil; dunk bread in egg mixture, coating both sides. Place bread in pan, pouring remaining mixture on top of bread. Over medium heat, cook until browned on both sides and egg mixture is solid. Meanwhile, coat another small non-stick pan with spray oil. Pan-fry apples until cooked through. Place French toast on a plate; top with apples, pecans, and yogurt. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Makes 1 serving.
