I love meals that are easy and quick to make. That's why I decided to make a vegetarian naan pizza that's also a nutritious meal.

 

I think you'll love this naan pizza recipe. You'll notice that this meal doesn't have any tomato sauce, and that's because it's a white pizza!

 

As a pescatarian (and former vegetarian), I'm often frustrated by dishes that don't supply enough protein to power me through my day...or even my afternoon or evening. So I set out to make a naan pizza recipe that offers an excellent amount of satiating protein.

 

I used packaged naan to make this recipe super easy. You could make the recipe even healthier by using whole-grain naan. If you're gluten free, you can try swapping out the naan for gluten-free pita bread.

 

The beauty of using naan for a pizza base is you don't have to worry about getting your hands on pizza dough.

 

When you put the pizza in the oven, you'll get the crispiest taste with a pizza stone. But you can also use baking sheets. Then just bake the pizza for about 15 minutes, and the super quick meal is ready to eat!

How to cook Naan Tomato and White Bean Pizza

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 ° F .
  2. In a bowl, combine beans, olive oil, and garlic. Reserve a third of the mixture; set aside.
  3. Mash remaining mixture with a fork and spread on top of naan.
  4. Top with mozzarella, tomato slices, and remainder of bean mixture.
  5. Add red pepper flakes, Parmesan, and sage.
  6. Bake 12-15 minutes.
